Schooling Options
Primary School
Kindergarten & Grades 1–5 — where strong foundations in reading, number sense and curiosity are built with care.
Our Approach
Learning by Doing
We believe in experiential learning — hands-on activities, real-world problem solving and small projects that let children apply what they learn in practical, meaningful ways.
Alongside academics, our primary students enjoy indoor and outdoor games, yoga, art, craft, dance and music, guided by dedicated co-curricular faculty.
- ✓Activity-led lessons instead of plain lectures
- ✓Reading corners and phonics enrichment
- ✓Regular celebration of festivals and value education
The First Years
A Happy, Safe First School Experience
Kindergarten at IRA is a play-way beginning — no pressure, no rote drills. Our pre-primary coordinator and trained PP1 and PP2 class teachers fill the day with stories, rhymes, games and guided discovery, gently building the listening skills, language and confidence that primary school builds on.
Play-Way Discovery
A play-way start for our youngest learners — stories, rhymes, games and discovery that make the first school experience happy and safe.
Phonics from the Start
Systematic phonics led by a phonics-trained teacher helps little ones hear, recognise and enjoy their first words.
Rhymes & Songs
Daily rhymes and music build memory, rhythm and confidence — and give every child a reason to smile.
Games & Motor Play
Indoor games, puzzles and active play develop coordination, sharing and the joy of playing together.
Values & Manners
Sharing, empathy, discipline and responsibility are woven into every day, guided by experienced class teachers.
Personalized Care
Dedicated PP1 and PP2 class teachers keep groups small, so every child is noticed, comforted and encouraged.
